About
I'm Dr. Tameer, a licensed clinical psychologist offering fully virtual psychotherapy through secure telehealth. My clients are often high-functioning adults who look composed on the outside while quietly carrying more than they let on: the weight of demanding work, relationships in transition, or a sense that something has shifted and they're not quite sure why.
Our work together is collaborative, paced, and grounded in the research. We slow things down enough to see clearly, then build forward in a way that actually fits your life.
The work isn't to become someone new. It's to come home to who you've been underneath it all, and to decide, with clarity, what to do from here.
My approach
I draw from cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic foundations, woven through a transpersonal and Jungian depth-oriented lens, choosing what fits the person in front of me, not the other way around. Sessions are conversational, attentive to symbol and pattern, and always centered on what you came in to move.
A complimentary 20-minute call to understand what's bringing you in and decide if we're the right fit.
Two to three sessions to map the full picture: history, patterns, strengths, and the goals worth setting.
Weekly standard 55-minute sessions. Practical between-session reflection. A clear sense of what we're building toward.
We taper as the change holds. You leave with skills and self-knowledge that outlast the work.
Therapy pathways
For chronic overwhelm, burnout, sleeplessness, and the steady low-grade anxiety of doing too much for too long. We work on the patterns underneath, not just the symptoms.
For the person who has done the practical work and is ready for the deeper one: self-understanding, values clarification, and the quiet inner work that lets the rest of your life click into focus.
For the in-between seasons: career pivots, relationship change, relocations, parenthood, loss. The places where the old map no longer works and a new one hasn't quite arrived.
Areas of clinical focus
Beyond the three core focus areas, the practice supports adults carrying the weight of anxiety, trauma, and the lasting imprint of adverse experiences.
Calm a racing mind and an overactivated nervous system, and find steadier ground.
Process and integrate traumatic experiences with EMDR and somatic resourcing.
Understand relational patterns shaped by early experience, and gently rework them.
Build capacity to settle, regulate, and feel safe in your body again.
A note on fit
Choose a time that works for you. I'll call you at the number you provide, we'll talk about what's bringing you in, and either of us can decide it isn't the right fit. If it isn't, I'll point you toward someone better suited.
Consultations are conducted by phone.
FAQ
This is a fully virtual practice. Sessions are conducted by default over a secure, HIPAA-aligned video platform (Google Meet). Audio-only video sessions and full telephone sessions (placed from a secure clinical line at your appointment time) are both available on request. There is no in-person option, and none of these formats is treated as lesser.
It varies. Some focused work resolves in 8–12 sessions; deeper growth-oriented work often runs longer. We'll revisit goals regularly so you always know where we are and where we're headed.
